The Reclaim heat pump is a specialised split-system solution designed for Australian conditions. It utilises a natural CO₂ refrigerant, which remains highly effective even when Melbourne temperatures drop as low as -10°C. This ensures a consistent supply of hot water throughout winter without relying on an electric backup element.

Reclaim Energy is noted for its exceptionally quiet operation. Its smart V2controller lets you schedule heating cycles to coincide with your solar PV output, helping with household energy management. We handle all paperwork for Solar Victoria and VEU incentives, applying these as point-of-sale discounts to simplify your transition to renewable hot water.

Our Reclaim split-system product range includes four products, two compressors and two tank types. The two compressor types are compatible with both the V1.1 and V2 controllers and offer similar performance. The main difference is the warranty: the V1.1 comes with a 7-year warranty, while the V2 is covered for 10 years.

For the tank types, we offer the Glass-Lined (GL) and Stainless Steel (SST) variants. GL units operate like a standard HWS tank and have a sacrificial anode, holding a 10-year warranty. SST units are more premium in that they do not have a sacrificial anode, requiring less maintenance. These come with a 15-year warranty.

With these variants in mind, you can essentially mix and match the compressors and the tanks to your liking; our top-spec recommendation being the SST V2 line. Reclaim also offers four different tank sizes: 160L, 250L, 315L and 400L.
